My business is designed around three basic premises…
- Build relationships with not only our clients but with their families as well. To look at the client not as a unit or number, but with a holistic approach of the needs and desires that they wish to accomplish through my services and the products I offer.
- To work closely with agents and or agencies that I feel are like-minded when it comes to caring for their clients. Offering my assistance when and where it may be needed.
- Helping people when their insurance salesman cannot be found, even when I may not represent the client’s insurance company. I have found in my 30+ years in the business that there are two types of people representing insurance companies…
- The insurance salesman – interested in making a sale and not the client’s needs
- The insurance agent – interested in finding the right solution for each client’s needs
An insurance agent will listen to the client’s input and reasons for wanting coverage and then design a plan that he feels best covers the needs of the client and will work with the client to ensure that everything is to the client’s liking.
Sometimes the agent is not a right fit for the client. If that happens, he will refer that client to another agent that may be a better fit.
At Johnston and Associates, each client is our most important client.
